White jeans with a ghetto booty

Orange Lace Crop £6 Select // White Super High Waisted Jeans £32 Miss Selfridge // Sunglasses £4.99 New Look
So although I think you have to be really slim to pull off skin tight jeans especially when they're white, I've been craving some for ages! I was going to get the Topshop Joni Jeans in white but when I went to get them they didn't have my size, and neither did ASOS have any of the Ridley High Waisted jeans in white. But after browsing online for a bit I found these on Miss Selfridge website.. not only are they £2 cheaper than the Topshop version they had 20% off with unidays and free delivery! Obviously I ordered them straight away along with the same pair in a light blue denim. I LOVE them because they hold you in and the high waist is really flattering and you can wear crop tops with them and not have too much belly on show! Although I think white jeans look amazing in summer and go so well with pretty much any other colour, me and white don't go together as I'm more than likely to get them dirty immediately after I put them on. Alongside the big booty I have I just hope they don't look awful!

Holiday Time!

Mint Lace Panel Dress: H&M
£9.99
So.. FINALLY booked a holiday. Last minute and I leave in 2 weeks eeeek! had a passport dilemma but after going to the passport office in Liverpool it's all sorted, phew! So now it's time to do some holiday shopping. Had a small spree the other day and this was probably my favourite purchase. It's really cute and will be nice a cool to wear in the heat of Turkey! £9.99 from H&M and they have black, white and pink versions as well. It's a good one to show off a bit of tan as well with the lace panels and low back. H&M have quite a lot of reasonably priced summer garments in at the moment. I had seen advertised a white crochet bikini that I REALLY want but every store i've been in is out of stock and so is the website so I think I'm gonna have to give up hope on that one :(

Smart but Sweet

Pastel Pink Blazer: Zara
£59.99
Although this is kind of old now (I got it for my 18th birthday two years ago) I have only worn it a few times so it still feels really new. Although it's fairly smart, the colour makes it more casual and it's really summery. I think it goes well with casual jeans and a blouse but also makes a smart outfit when teamed with a nice dress. It's fully lined with a grey and white pinstripe silky fabric which makes it worth the hefty 60 quid I think.

With pastels back for SS14 it will probably be making an appearance sometime soon!

Pretty in Pink

Ribbed Crop Top £10 Republic // Pink Floral Pixel Skater Skirt £19.99 New Look // Coral Gladiator Sandals £10 Primark

Really getting in the mood for Summer even though here in not so sunny England I probably won't be able to wear any of this stuff for a while. The crop top was from last summer so isn't available any more.. especially as Republic doesn't exist any more. The skirt is a new one (still got the tags on!) from New Look and it's available in blue as well. It came up really big so I got a 6 and it's still fairly big round the waist because I like to wear skates quite high up. Got the sandals from Primark recently too but already worn them loads - they're really comfy and I LOVE the colour. I think i'm becoming more stingy or something but I did actually think £10 was a lot for some sandals from Primark but hopefully they will last the summer at least.

Sports Luxe

Basketball Tshirt £6 Primark // Chuck Taylor All Star Converse £47.99 Office
I really like the "Sports Luxe' trend. It's an excuse to dress casual but still look fashionable and eye catching. Basketball tops are everywhere at the moment but this little gem was only £6 from Primark, such a steal! I love wearing baggy and oversized garments because they're comfy and you don't have to worry about any wardrobe malfunctions. The beauty of Sports Luxe is you can dress it up or down depending on the occasion. Although Converse aren't exactly Sports Luxe, they go well with jeans and a basketball shirt for a casual but cool look. I got these about a year ago and I've worn them loads. Really comfy and go with pretty much any outfit. Although they're starting to look a tad scruffy now I might risk them in the washing machine soon.

Cami Cami

Black Floral Cami £12.99 New Look // Blue and White Floral Cami £4 Primark // Yellow Cami £4 Primark // Pink and Grey Rose Print Cami £12.99 New Look // Red Cami £7.99 New Look // Black Cami £9.99 Matalan // White and Orange Cami £12.99 New Look
The thing I like about cami tops is that they can go from super casual worn with jeans, to ready for a night out with heels and some statement jewellery and they are generally really cheap. I think the plain block colour ones go best for a night out and floral generally stick to daytime. I have a couple more than this which is probably enough to last me a while now...put these together with all my shirts and I probably have a different top to wear for a month. The life of a fashion student...

Flower Power

Floral Shorts £19.99 Forever 21 // Floral Shirt £15.99 Zara // Floral Cami £4 Primark
Just a few florals as it's Spring. I wear floral prints a lot, usually when I want to make myself feel a bit pretty so throw in some flowers...if that even works.

Shirt Mania

Lilac Shirt £14 F&F at Tesco // White Floral shirt £25 Bank // Porcelain Print Shirt £39.99 Zara // Burgundy Floral Shirt £23.99 Ark // Beige and Black Floral Shirt £19.99 New Look // Aztec print Shirt £8 Primark

I think I'm a little bit addicted to shirts. This is just a small selection out of my large collection of shirts. The first one I bought was the Porcelain Print White and Blue Shirt from Zara. I was reluctant at the time to spend £40 on shirt but now I am so glad I did. It's one of my most worn wardrobe items. One of the main reasons I love shirts is they are so easy to wear. I can pair a shirt with jeans, leggings, skirts, over a dress AND under a jumper. My shirt collection is getting so big they have to share hangers in my wardrobe.. oops!

My latest purchase is the White Floral Shirt from Bank. Paired with White jeans and sandals, perfect for summer!
Gold Chain Necklace: H&M
£9.99
Mint Knitted Jumper: Ark
£19.99

Another Shopping Spree

Snake Texture Shoulder Bag: Accessorize
£17.99

White Textured Blazer: H&M
£29.99

Red/Coral Oversize Shirt: Tu
£16

Duck Egg Stud Earrings: Accessorize
£6

A recent shopping spree took place after my Student Loan came in. Yes I know I'm supposed to spend it on boring things like food and rent but shopping is way more fun and because I study fashion It's part of my course anyway.. or at least I tell myself so. Trend research or something like that. Been looking for a white jacket for a while and not really found anything I loved but settled for this H&M piece which is fitted and comfortable. I personally think I could have been a lot worse with the spending, most of these things were relatively inexpensive. Went into Sainsbury's because I had seen some Gok Wan floral trousers advertised that I reaaaaally want but they only had size 14+ which being a size 8 isn't much use. Gutted. But picked up the red/coral top while I was there. Thought it would look cool with some white jeans.

Ordered some RayBan wayfarer glasses (not sunglasses) on this spree as well. They were more necessary though because I can't see much without them.

Spring Wishlist

Olivia Burton Watches Available at Asos and Topshop // Lipsy Embellished Cami Dress £55 Bank // Dogtooth Crop Top and Asymmetric Skirt both £14.99 Missguided // Nike Roshe Run £70 JD Sports
At the moment these are the few things I REALLY want. I've been after an Olivia Burton watch for a while but I already have two watches so don't know whether to splash out or not. If i get one I would get a white, coral or pale pink strap which would be nice to have over summer so now is the time to go for it I suppose. They're only about £70 and from Asos or Topshop you can get student discount, almost too much of a bargain to miss. The picture here doesn't do the embellished dress justice. In real life it is INCREDIBLE. As soon as I have either 1) booked a holiday somewhere hot or 2) been invited to a wedding (haha!) I am going to snap this up. I don't usually like Lipsy stuff at all but this is worth every penny of the £55. The Dogtooth Co-ord set is also a holiday kind of outfit. Again, I've been looking at Co-ord's for a while but haven't found one I really want yet until this. I can't make my mind up if £30 is a lot for the set, I guess not as you can wear each half separately as well with other garments. Finally, I'm looking at getting some funky trainers. Not for the gym as I already have some but some for general day wear. Waiting for payday before I get them though. All of this little lot would set me back £220 or there abouts, OUCH!!
