(Heart Ring Not Pandora)

So I now have five Pandora rings and I think my collection is finally complete. My boyfriend's family bought me the flower ring which I wear on my thumb for my birthday. I am SO in love with Pandora and I am so happy I have a complete set of rings. I have almost completed my silver bracelet so will have to venture into another one soon week! I think they are reasonably priced and although the charms are expensive they tell a story and leave reminders of certain things or occasions forever.

Black and Gold

Shoulder Bag: H&M
£34.99
Quilted iPad Case: Marc B at Topshop
£19.99
Back Textured Scarf: H&M
£8.99
Fluffy Cropped Jumper: Internationale
£12.99
Gold Cone Necklace: Topshop
£?
Black and Gold Earrings: Forever 21
£3.99
Black is probably one of my favourite colours to wear. Not only is it slimming, it goes with anything and can be so easily dressed up or down and made to look classy and chic. The H&M handbag is one of my most recent purchases. I originally bought it for when I'm travelling to and from uni and stopping overnight somewhere because it's huge! With me only being small I think it looks a bit OTT and stupid but i've grown to like it and use it a lot more now. It has a long strap so it can be a shoulder bag which is really useful when carrying it around jam packed full of uni work, books, iPad etc. And of course it goes with any outfit which is a little bonus. H&M also do it in other colours - pale bus and beige which are really cool for summer! The ONLY downside to this bag is that i've seen loads of people with it which puts me off because I prefer to be a bit individual. I guess it's expected when it's from a high street store at such a good price (I had £5 off so it was even better!). You can find it here in black and other colours.

I got the iPad case for Christmas 2012 (agrees ago I know) but I still love it! It's been really useful and lasted so well. For £19.99 I think it was a bargain. It is also lined with a really cool leopard print fabric.

Although the picture of the scarf is more of a selfie and you can't really see the scarf, it is also from H&M and a  bargain price also available in other colours. It can be worn in loads of different ways and is a really soft textured material - great for spring as it's lighter than my knitted scarfs.

I have blogged about the fluffy cropped jumper before but it's so comfy and easy to wear with so many different things it's appearing again! I would say go and grab one but it's from Internationale which is now in administration so I doubt you'll find one. The necklace is an old one from Topshop but a classic that i wear a lot as it's simple but finished off an outfit.

Finally the earrings are a pair I wear so much - from Forever 21. They were a present to myself when I was down in London for a week at Debenhams HQ as I was in jewellery heaven at the huge Forever 21 store on Oxford Street!

Birthday Princess

I was thoroughly spoilt on my birthday and here is a few of my presents I was blessed to be given. My mum knows me so well and bought me so many cute little vintage style girly gifts like the lantern, floral hangers and hand cream. I am also known for being OBSESSED with Pandora so got a charm and a ring which I love love love. I asked for a little watch because my Micheal Kors is being ruined because I wear it too much (the underneath is all scratched and it is starting to tarnish :( ) Anyway just thought I'd let you all ave a browse at my amazing presses!

No longer a teenager

Last weekend was my birthday. I used to get so excited about birthdays but I think I have finally reached the age where the novelty has worn off. I wasn't looking forward to it at all, I kind of forgot it was even my birthday. Although saying this... it turned out to be a good one!

Jonathan arranged a surprise trip to Edinburgh for the weekend. The drive was tedious (over 4 hours) but it was well worth it. We stayed in a nice hotel next door to the zoo. Lots of eating, drinking and tourist things and I was thoroughly spoilt. Got back on the Sunday and went for a meal with my parents who also spoilt me so all in all it was a great weekend.

Now I've just got to join a gym to recover from the immense indulgence...

Coffee is an Art

Since working in bars and restaurants i've developed a love for making coffees. At first I was scared of the coffee machine it looked to big and daunting but now I jump at every chance to make one! I'm pretty proud of these few above. Sometimes I can make them perfect and other times they just go all wrong. I don't think people really appreciate the skill that goes into making proper coffee, not until they get a really horrible bubbly one anyway.

It's not really fashion or anything else related but I just wanted to brag a bit about my coffee skills haha. (even though i'm pretty amateur)

Summer Throwback

Can't believe I haven't posted about this yet, but now seems an appropriate time as it's so sunny outside and looks like we're heading towards summer again.

Last summer my brother got married to his beautiful girlfriend of 9/10 years (I can't remember exactly coz its been so long!). They met at school and finally tied the knot last year. I'm so happy to have her as my sister-in-law and feel extremely special as she chose for me to be her bridesmaid (to all of her friends envy).

They chose the most amazing venue at a country house in derbyshire near to where we live and were brought up. It was all outdoors and thankfully it was the most beautiful day of hot sunshine which made it all even more special.

They had soo many great ideas and as he is the first to get married out of the siblings he has set a very high standard! There were garden games spread around the gardens, a hammock to bask in the sun and a string quartet playing away. As they lived in China together for three years there was a Chinese theme inside the main marquee which looked incredible! Outside there was also a 'photo booth' with props to take funny photos of all the guests and in the evening a small fire to give some heat and light. There was a Chinese dragon that came in and nobody knew about it so was a huge surprise which was followed by speeches and amazing food.

It was such an amazing and beautiful day and it will be a memory that we all treasure for a very long time. Here are some photos to give you an idea of what it was all like.. although they will never do justice to how great the day was!

I just hope that when i get married it will be as good as this!

Crufts!

I am a HUGE fan of dogs. I absolutely love them. I have a cocker spaniel called Charlie and he amazing! He is so loving and always cheers me up. So it's my birthday on the 15th and last weekend I had an early birthday surprise which ended up being going to crafts for the first time! Mum took me down to the NEC for the day and it was incredible! The number of dogs all packed into one space baffled me.... and their owners too who just sat around all day waiting for their dog to be shown. I expected there to be loads of noise with dogs barking but there wasn't, they are so well behaved! Some of the dogs were absolutely crazy especially the poodles with huge afros being layered with hairspray but the experience was fab!

We watched a few different shows in the main arena, the first was dancing to music. It was a bit like the dog and owner who won Britain's Got Talent. This was probably my favourite part of the show. So amusing! Then we watched the RAF dogs an a demonstration of how they have been trained to deal with searching for weapons and drugs and helping to capture criminals. Finally we watched the 'flyable' show. This was amazing, kind of a sport for dogs. Teams of dogs and their owners from around the country came and played against each other. The dogs had to jump over 4 hurdles and then collect a ball from the end before coming back over the hurdles and releasing the next dog like a relay. They were all solo fast and absolutely loving it! Anyway I could go on for days about the whole experience but overall it was a great day out I highly recommend going!

Oh and... this is my baby Charlie
